Bellarine Peninsula a Wheelchair Friendly

December 17, 2015   |   Melissa (admin)

The Bellarine Peninsula has a wheelchair friendly destination in more ways than one!  Settle in and make Ocean Grove home base while you wander this stunning part of the country.

Ocean Grove is a bustling commercial and holiday centre situated on the southern coast of the Bellarine Peninsula, separated by by the Barwon River from its twin coastal town of Barwon Heads.

During the late 1990s, Barwon Heads was the primary location of filming for the popular Australian television series, SeaChange. In the past decade Barwon Heads has become subject to what is colloquially known in some parts of Australia as the “seachange effect“.

In Ocean Grove you’ll not only find a couple of options for wheelchair accessible accommodation, but you can also get a birds eye view of this amazing area when you take a charter flight with Great Ocean Air in their wheelchair friendly plane.
