If you’re looking for wheelchair accessible accommodation in Fingal Bay you’ve come to the right place.
A near-perfect C-curve of sand that faces southeast, Fingal Bay Beach has its own island connected by a sand-spit and is well protected from all but a hefty southeast wind. The spit at the north end which links Fingal Island to the mainland gets decent waves when the sand builds up.
The island’s key feature is an imposing lighthouse and there are some stylish cafes a short walk from the water’s edge.
Seaside Holiday Resort offers two accessible units and four which have been modified to be wheelchair accessible.
The Resort is a great choice for families, backpackers and older travellers alike. Just two and a half hours north of Sydney, the area is renowned for its crystal clear waters and pristine beaches.
You’ll get a good dose of adrenaline tackling the 40ft high sand dunes on a quad bike or 4WD. Or maybe a quiet snorkel exploring shipwrecks and magnificent reefs is more to your liking.
There’s something for everyone at Fingal Bay, and this is a great place to stay and get exploring!
